1 Identify with iPadOS (Settings) Recommended
This method works if your iPad turns on normally.
- Open the Settings app on your iPad
- Tap "General"
- Tap "About"
- You will see several pieces of information: Model name (ex: "iPad Pro 13-inch (M5)"), Model number (ex: A3360), Serial number and IMEI (if Cellular model)
💡 Tip: The "Model number" always starts with the letter "A" followed by 4 digits. This is the most precise identifier for your iPad.
2 Identify with model number on back case
This method works even if your iPad no longer turns on.
- Turn over your iPad (back facing you)
- Look for the model number engraved in small text on the back case
- The number starts with "A" followed by 4 digits (ex: A3360, A2925, A2836)
- Use the search bar below to find your model
⚠️ Note: On recent iPads, the model number can be very small and difficult to read. Use a magnifying glass if necessary. It is usually found at the bottom of the back case.
3 Identify with serial number
Alternative method if you have access to your iPad.
